QUANTUM COMMUNICATION INFRASTRUCTURE IN HUNGARY
The project aims to lay the foundations of a national quantum communication infrastructure in Hungary, with the eventual goal to participate in the creation of a larger pan-European quantum network. The backbone and a part of the metropolitan network will be constructed from commercially available quantum key distribution (QKD) systems. The department is developing a highly modular software framework on top of the QKD devices.

NET-ZERO SELF-ADAPTIVE ACTIVATION OF DISTRIBUTED SELF-RESILIENT AUGMENTED SERVICES (NATWORK)
NATWORK project is an European Union's Horizon Europe research and innovation programm that aims to develop a novel bio-inspired cybersecurity and resilience framework for 6G networks. More specifically, the main vision of the project is to develop a novel bio-inspired cybersecurity and resilience framework for networking distributed systems that transcend a single administrative domain and cross a heterogeneous fabric of resources. This vision is motivated by the new ICT systems landscape and 6G vision.
