Our Department Members Presented at Financial Cryptography 2026

Our department numbers presented their works at the Financial Cryptography and Data Security 2026 (FC26) conference. Financial Crypto is one of the most important academic venues in the blockchain academic research community.

This year's edition was held at Saint Kitts and Nevis. Soóki-Tóth Bence (a former Bachelor student at our department), István András Seres (a research assistant at our department), and Ábel Nagy (currently a Master's student at our department) presented their work on Trustless Consensus Manpiluation on Ethereum Through Bribing Contracts ( https://eprint.iacr.org/2025/1719.pdf )

Additionally, Ábel Nagy presented his works at a smaller workshop discussing the vulnerabilities of Ethereum's distributed randomness beacon, the RANDAO (https://fc26.ifca.ai/fairness/)
